Description | This 2-day course is designed to meet the basic needs of new laser end users and service and maintenance personnel with minimum class time and a non-mathematical approach. It meets all the training requirements of OSHA and ANSI Z136.1 "Safe Use of Lasers" standard. No previous experience in laser safety is required. Features include just the right amount of theory and background information, complete discussions of laser hazard analysis and laser control measures, a comprehensive and comprehensible explanation of the ANSI Standard, and numerous real-world examples of solving laser safety problems. Practical examples illustrating the use of our EASY-HAZ™ LSO Hazard Analysis Software are included (no math required). The presentation is fast-paced and efficient in order to convey as much useful information as possible in the 2-day format, but there are also plenty of opportunities for participants to get all their questions answered. Laser Safety Awareness attendees will attend the first day and LSO’s will attend both days. This course can be presented on-site at your facility or livestream using Zoom web-based video conferencing. |
