Description | This one-day Laser Safety Awareness course is appropriate for laser maintenance and service personnel in industrial environments and for all laser users in research environments. In the industrial version we use your laser systems for examples and adjust the pace and level of detail to your particular audience. In the research version we assume a higher level of technical expertise, include a wider range of research examples, and increase the pace and level of detail as appropriate. In all classes we perform hazard analyses for your laser systems and include discussions of hazard conditions and control measures in your workplace. All Kentek laser safety courses are taught by a Certified Laser Safety Officer (CLSO) and meet all the training requirements of OSHA and ANSI Z136.1 "Safe Use of Lasers" standard. 6 hours of training (approximate). Each attendee will receive a set of printed course notes and a certificate of completion. Price is dependent on location and number of attendees. This course can be presented on-site at your facility or livestream using Zoom web-based video conferencing. |
