Description | Kentek’s Livestream Laser Safety Officer for Handheld Laser Welding course is delivered over two consecutive sessions using Zoom. Each session is 3.5-hours (1:00pm-4:30pm EST) with an optional time allotted for additional discussion and Q&A. This course is designed to meet the basic needs of Laser Safety Officers working in a manufacturing environment using handheld laser welding systems. It meets all the training requirements of OSHA and ANSI Z136.1 “Safe Use of Lasers” standard. No previous experience in laser safety is required. Practical examples illustrating the use of our EASY-HAZ™ LSO Hazard Analysis Software specific to handheld laser welding systems are included (no math required). To ensure effective and personal instructor/attendee interaction this course is limited to 12 attendees. |
