Description This laser safety micro course will conduct a review of Laser Hazard Analysis concepts including Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE), Optical Density (OD), Nominal Ocular Hazard Distance (NOHD) and Nominal Hazard Zone (NHZ). Quantifying and evaluating laser hazards will be discussed along with calculation examples explained. Total run time is approximately 105 minutes. Attendees have 7-days to complete starting from the first login.
