Description | This two-day Applied Laser Safety course is designed to meet the basic needs of laser users and service and maintenance personnel in industrial, manufacturing or research environments. It is designed specifically for personnel with little or no previous experience with lasers but also includes additional information that will be particularly useful to more experienced laser users. Features include just the right amount of theory and background information, complete discussions of laser hazard analysis and laser control measures, a comprehensive and comprehensible explanation of the ANSI Z136.1 "Safe Use of Lasers" standard, and numerous real-world examples of solving laser safety problems. Practical examples illustrating the use of our EASY-HAZ™ LSO Hazard Analysis Software are included (no math required). The presentation is fast-paced and efficient in order to convey as much useful information as possible in the two-day format, but there are also plenty of opportunities for participants to get all their questions answered. This course can be presented on-site at your facility or livestream using Zoom web-based video conferencing. |
