EASY-HAZ™ is a useful tool for the LSO to help perform hazard analysis calculations but is not required for this course. |

ANSI Z136.1 “Safe Use of Lasers” standard and EASY-HAZ™ hazard analysis software are optional materials that can be purchased with this course in the optional items section at checkout. If your organization does not have a copy of the ANSI standard, it is recommended one be obtained. The standard is a key component in developing and maintaining a successful laser safety program. |

Description | Kentek’s online Laser Safety Officer (LSO) for Handheld Laser Welding course is intended for individuals required to perform the duties of LSO as defined by ANSI Z136.1 “Safe Use of Lasers” standard in a manufacturing, industrial or job shop/production environment. The course consists of recorded modules and is designed to be taken at your own pace. An optional hazard analysis module to help understand evaluating handheld laser welding hazards demonstrating our EASY-HAZ™ laser hazard analysis software is also included. This course meets all training requirements of OSHA and ANSI.
